Mrs. Gianna Earp - Primary School Principal

 

Welcome to Our School!

Greetings,

I'm incredibly honored and excited to introduce myself as your principal. With a decade of experience as an educator at DPS, I'm deeply committed to fostering a supportive and enriching learning environment where every student can thrive.

My journey in education began right here in the district, where I had the privilege of serving in various roles. I started as a Kindergarten Teacher, then taught 1st Grade, before becoming a Reading Specialist and a Learning Support Teacher K-2. During the 2023-2024 school year, I served as the Secondary Intervention and Special Education Principal at Danville High School and Middle School. These diverse experiences have given me a comprehensive understanding of student needs across different grade levels and learning styles. In the summer of 2024, I proudly transitioned into the role of Elementary Principal at DPS. 

I am deeply passionate about cultivating an educational environment that is not only academically rigorous but also profoundly supportive, ensuring every student feels empowered to reach their full potential. Our District's unwavering dedication to building a strong foundation for student success is something I hold in immense regard, and I am honored to contribute to that commitment.

I believe in the power of strong partnerships between home and school, and I'm eager to continue to work alongside our dedicated staff, wonderful students, and supportive families to make this a truly successful and joyful school year.
